OLMSTED NETWOR'S SINGLE MOTHERS MISSION MISSION STATEMENT The SINGLE MOTHERS MISSION is a new program which builds on a unique single mothers program started by THE WELL OF MERCY. Their mission is "Our mission is to provide a secure home for single women in need. We encourage and develop programs of change, and build paths towards successful and stable futures for women and their children" They provide an alternative to abortion. Our mission is two fold; To rehab, and build two to four unit accessible / affordable buildings for single mothers who are disabled, or are carrying unborn babies that have a significant change of being born with disabilities. Train single mothers to become personal assistants to mothers with disabilities. BACKGROUND More than 100,000 are born with a disability (some are aborted due a lack of knowledge and resources). The mothers that bring their babies into the world are usually overwhelmed and seek advice on every level. The problem is composed if the mothers are single. Providing free apartments and resources for single mothers with a high risk of carrying babies, and mothers with disabilities. Training single mothers to be personal assistants / caregivers is a step towards financial independence. Training would be provided by the OLMSTEAD FREEDOM FIGHTERS program DONATE NOW to help us rehab and build accessible / affordable housing for people with disabilities and single mothers at high risk of babies being born with disabilities.
